I have this lan ethernet: Every post I have read on installing the driver give links to Atheros but they are all broken. I disabled ipv6 binarytides. I have done a lot of searching and for athdros there is no new driver atheros was bought out and the new company has not posted any drivers.
There is no wireless available where I am at the moment but the card is recognized.
I chose one with the RTL chipset that works perfectly on ubuntu. I followed this post on the Ubuntu Forums to get it working: Also, if you haven’t tried the card in another OS, then consider the possibility that it might be broken.

I finally bought a well supported pci ethernet.
What errors did you get when arheros tried to install the one I had in the link earlier? Results 1 to 10 of Join our community today! Unfortunately the link in the post to the driver itself is dead.

Run “dmesg” and check for error messages related to the card too. And ‘ifconfig eht0’ gives nothing about ip address or Mac address.
